I did the Mk 19 conversion from yoke to DIN this past summer, and have used the reg in its original configuration and extensively with its DIN configuration. The O ring that came with the DIN kit is simply an extra. I'll be converting back to yoke when I travel to Dominica this winter. Very easy.
