Plugging in gave us much better speeds but I mostly used the wi-fi (when i could) for convenience. You're going to have a wonderful time, the condos have surely all been finished for months now... The location is fantastic and given the right circumstances I wouldn't hesitate to stay there...

I actually went this route, it cost me about $1000 (including an Inon Z-240 to replace a flooded D2000 and a few other accessories). I didn't get a lot of time in the water to fiddle with it it due to a Norte blowing through, but I'm pleased with my results. I'm a rank amateur so it was nice...

Thanks! Underwater shots are with an Olympus 5060 & Inon Z-240 strobe. Top side are with an Olympus SP-350 which is my backup underwater camera if need be. None of them have been photoshopped (yet) except for cropping, I'd like to clean some of them up a bit.

No, this was a real budget trip for us... we stayed at Caribe Blu (and loved it). I considered staying there [Presidente] 2 days at the end of the trip but am thankful we did not considering how the weather turned sour. It would have been interesting to see what rate they would have given me...

Uh... Lou, You can fly (direct) about 5 different ways from Chicago to Cancun for $300 (incl. tax). No need to go all the way to Indy. ATA, United, Funjet, Apple, USA3000 are all $300ish and I know I'm forgetting at least one more.

One thing to add about Hotel Coz... you can get an Ocean View Room for I believe an extra $10. It makes for a world of difference cutting down on the incessant noise near the pool! I suppose I would consider staying there (Hotel Coz) again. It is within walking distance to town and really close...
