wow...how is the ambiance?

Guido's courtyard and little white lights just makes me want great wine....

OH! and comfortable chairs. Nothing worse than trendy places with high end food and those torturous metal minimalist chairs and bad, tinny acoustics.

Le Chef is a pretty tiny place with about 5 tables only...and the one complaint I would have are the tiny tables and the uncomfortable chairs. No courtyard, but it's got a cute little european cafe feel to it...and he's got AC (he put real windows in Jeff).

It's definitely a teaser being right across the street, especially since Eduardo will serve me at my desk...haha! I am very happy though that the salads are just as delicious and satisfying as all of the other more sinful things, like the Lasagna!

You want ambiance? Guido's wins... hands down.

If you're thinking the whole package - Guido's is the nicer of the two... just talking food - Le Chef. I never said it wasn't a tough choice though! :crafty:

I've been under the opinion that Guido's has slipped a little. They have picked it back up but i don't think the menu is as daring as it used to be... It used to be that you could get a different special there every night, now they seem to change weekly (if that). Wahoo was the special for a week straight in Feb. June & August they changed it up a bit. I know it all depends on what the fishermen catch but I've gotta believe Mahi is an easy catch down there.

We just got back and while over at Blue XT setting up our dives for the week Christi recommended it. We went and I got the Lasagna and my husband got the Tuna and we both loved our meals. I thought the Tuna was a little fishy but I don’t like real fishy foods. I loved the lasagna. The portions are so big we could have split a meal. I would definitely stop by while in town.

I know, the restaurant choices are getting out of control here :) See why I can't possibly have all of them on my list :) It has to really be good to be on my list :)

Christi, does Le Chef do take-away, or is it just eat in?

He does take-out as well...but not delivery...unless you're right across the street :D

Christi, does your new office have a shower? Room for a cot? Might you consider letting Misha stay the night?

If so, can I book your office for my hotel the next time I come down? :D
