My crew usually has a few lion fish hunters in the group, but this trip is just the boy and I. We were diving at Alice in Wonderland today and saw the largest lion fish we have ever seen. Looked pretty much pitch black (red) with minor white showing.

I am hoping there is someone on island now that we can escort you to it. Unless you can find them yourself...that works too (75 feet, 6 minutes south of the bouy, inner reef)! There are 3 in one spot, one looks very ready to pop more babies or else they have gas, lol. The 2 are fairly decent fillet size, but don't hold a candle to the matriarch.

Tomorrow we are heading to candyland/past bopec but Tuesday - let's meet there and spot you some dinner!

Well, we only saw the 3 and I doubt a commercial outfit would want to take a group for so few. We aren't looking to hunt for outselfves but rather spot for someone who wanted to clear the reef (and cook themselves dinner, lol). I am 90% certain I can get other divers to the spot...

Most trips we come to Bonaire, we meet a scuba board member somehow and thought this would be another great opportunity to meet up with folks.

If you can't find anyone to go after it, report the location to Dive friends Bonaire or STINAPA. They will have someone go get it or them.

Ah, thanks. Will do that!
