Congratulation DukeAMO! What dive shop?

It was Dolphin Scuba in Sacramento. I thought the instructors (Rick and assistant Critter) and DMs ran it well; they took the time to correct and re-run drills where needed. Rick dealt with the low vis with a combination of demonstrating/explaining skills on the surface and taking us down one buddy team at a time to watch. I don't dive on the Pacific coast (too cold), and I'm actually quite accustomed to low vis, so I thought a warm-water class would work better for me. They run the class at Folsom Lake for people who don't really want to take it in Monterey Bay for whatever reason. As long as you don't care about the scenery or visibility, it's a good place to set up because there's a large beach there, and you can drive right up to it. The water was 81 degrees.

Congratulation DukeAMO..........major milestone completed.
