This morning the National Park of Cozumel reefs declared a state of emergency due to the presence of a mutant Lionfish recently arrived in the tropical waters of Cozumel!

The species is extremely voracious and the Park rules have to be applied rigorously! It is asked to the Divemaster to be particularly careful to don't feed the specimen ...

When meeting with the Whale Lionfish, form a compact group with your dive buddies to make dificult a swallowing attempt of one
member's party.

Weight: Up to 7.000 lbs
Length: 12 to 25 ft; Female is usually larger than the male
Pectoral End Size: More than 20 Ft
Mating Season: Unknown
Lifespan: 10 to 20 years
Number of Teeth: Up to 15.000 tiny teeth
Typical Diet: Fish, Dolphins, Seals, Squid, Sea Turtles, Seabirds, Whale Carcasses and isolated diver
Sexual Maturity: About 7 Years
Number of Eggs: Unknown; Young hatch from Egg Capsules
Related Species: The Orca and white Shark have feeding systems similiar to the Whale Lionfish

So woud that not mean that global warming is a myth? Thaw means to melt. Therefore, unthaw has to mean to freeze. :wink:
