Scuba_Jenny - Thanks again for the info. My wife and I will actually be coming into town a week from Wednesday, and have to leave Saturday morning to head up to Orlando for her conference, otherwise we just may have taken you up on the extra dive buddy. It's always more enjoyable with more people.

True, Divers Direct/World Watersports doesn't rent tanks, but if the weather is uncooperative on the ocean and if you want to check out the lake, I'll take you folks over and provide the tanks - providing I can escape my cubicle for awhile

Also, as to boats - check out South Florida Diving Headquarters in Pompano Beach or closer to where you are staying, American Dream II. I've had very good experiences with both of them.

You've already met ScubaJenny on the board - she's a great asset and I think shen knows just about everyone in the area! Give me a PM and I'll send you a couple of other names and numbers.

Bill

Frogman48 - Thanks for the offer on the lake and also for the boat dive recommendations.
