Resurecting an old thread. Have the pairing issues been fixed with the transmitters or are they still problematic?

Have they also added surface GF?

No, not yet. I'm talking to them about it and about other things. I am wearing them out and they should give in shortly 🙂

They lowered their prices and are offering a summer discount in the EMEA region.

The computer itself is great, better than the prior version. Menus are easier to navigate, not that they were difficult to begin with. You can adjust communications gain easier while underwater and can turn off annoying alarms UW. There are other enhancements but I haven't dive it enough to play with it more UW.

Note: They have a new much better screen protector made in Germany, make sure you get a pack of those. They are much better than the old film protectors.

I'm very happy with this version 2 so far.

If you use the GPS version and use it to navigate to different drop-down spots on surface, they have improved this feature so much compared with the prior version. I love it since I have to do long surface swims to get to specific spots UW. Very easy to save waypoints now.

This is the one feature I probably would not use, so looking at the non GPS version IX3M 2 - either deep or tech

If you are going to be using trimix and doing technical diving, skip the "Deep" version and go straight to the "Tech" version from the beginning. The Deep version doesn't give you full GF control, only a preset list. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with that if I knew that I was going to be doing technical diving using trimix.
