Just using Rover Manual and notice that the opening effort values have been transposed - metric and imperial!

Good catch.

Earlier versions of Mares' service documentation has it correct.

Here is a good reference (look at page 59 from the 2012 service manual) that indicates where to measure from when using the "submerge" method of checking cracking effort if/when a magnahelic is not available:

I've just completed another update to Mares Regulator Service Information . I've added the 2022 Service Tech Training manual which includes complete service info for several regs which we did not previously have including the 62X and 82X first stages and the Atlas Adj, SXS, Ultra and Ultra Adj second stages as well as updates for several others.

Also of potential interest are the following new(ish) Technical Bulletins:

TB37 Regulator Service Guideline and Service Intervals p. 216-217
TB38 Spring 50N p. 218
TB40 Spring 50N for 15X (updated 15X body) p. 240
TB42-bis New Trimaterial Poppet 2K22 [also new service kit part numbers] p. 219

Here's a direct link to the manual: https://lowwall.eu5.org/sm2022.pdf . It's too large (11.8mb) to attach here.

As always, if you find errors or would like to contribute something let me know.

The link no longer works. Do you have a current link?
Thanks.

Thank you for maintaining this reference library @lowwall and @Zef .

sm1998 doesn't appear to be complete. Eg exploded diagram of the MR16 is missing.

A 1999 reprint attached has an extra 32 pages. Sourced from here.

There is a 2002 version that appears to have extra pages. Sourced from here.

Similarly a 2003 version that appears to have extra pages. Sourced from here.

There is also a 2006 version. Sourced from here.

Thanks. I'll take a look and add any missing info to the collection. The early manuals were cumulative, so they would only send updated pages. The pdf versions of these contained varying amounts of the info that was previously provided.

I am actually in the process of redoing the page since someone sent me info on several current regs. But it's in individual files rather than the full service manuals so the current format needs some tweaks.

I'm checking these out and I hate you :)

To be fair, these versions are almost the same for our purposes. The shorter ones I have are mostly missing stuff like the table of contents and repeated tech bulletins. BTW, the 2006 is what I call 2005-06.

But there's always at least one page in each of these that I feel needs to be indexed, so I'm replacing all 4 files. Which means I need to update a whole lot of links to changed page numbers.

It's something I was doing anyway since when I first wrote the page, I didn't realize you could link directly to a specific page in a pdf so I displayed the page numbers. Now that I don't need to do that, I'm taking the opportunity to reorganize in an attempt to make the whole thing more readable. But it's all hand coded html, so it's not a trivial task.
