It looks like PADI will be going before a jury for this one

The thing that surprises me most is that the shop didn't try to sell her the specialty course for dry suit. Normally PADI shops exist to push as many specialties on the customers as they can.

It seems like there is not much talk about PADI in here (a part from one comment by PBcatfish, please correct me if I'm wrong).
I first got to know this case after casually watching the video of a diver that saw what happened during the accident and was recording the whole dive with a GoPro. I'm angry, disgusted, sad and many other things that again safety stays behind profiteering.

I completely agree with James from DiversReady (see video linked by PBcatfish)

Hope 1: PADI is finally outed.

I guess you can’t read…. Because there has been extensive discussion ….

explains why you agree with the ridiculous position of this video.

@flymolo there is lengthy discussion about PADI's role; whether or not PADI has the duties of "agency"; what the consequences might be for various outcomes of the legal case; PADI's advertising; PADI's QA program; at least one internal PADI communication about the shop involved.

can you elaborate on this a little more?
This has been beaten to death on the first thread on this topic….literally into the hundreds…

Yeah not really sure what in that 134 page thread he's referring to when he accused the guy of not being able to read that's why I was asking
Not sure? Have you actually READ that thread? It’s full of dozens of posts on this topic, with scores of uploaded screenshots of PADI materials.

either you are trolling, or…. Well we can leave it at that…
