Nice photo. However, I can see the beginnings of a chrome dome. :D
...actually, his current "hairdo" makes all of his diving friends jealous-and some of our wives.

I guess little places like Houston and Chicago are just chopped liver. :troll:

Funny you mentioned this. I originally created this table in a spreadsheet to help timing various upgrade procedures to the board. We didn't have any Staff in non-coastal US states working on that part of the project. After posting it yesterday I expanded it for more "public" posts like this. I'll let people adjust for local daylight savings times.

Nice try, but, I think you are just a bit off... like by 20 years. Or am I missing something.

What about this "aging diver" thing?

I was climbing up the hill out of the Clackamas River a few summers ago when I met this older gentleman who started asking me about diving. So I stopped in all my gear, standing there with my doubles on and a double hose regulator, my float and its line, and a camera, and we started talking. Then I reached up and took down my hood as I was starting to everheat. The guy startled, and said,

"My goodness, you're older than me!"

Well I didn't quite know how to respond to that. But it made me feel good that until I got my hood off, he thought I was a young-un'.

PS, I'm now 76 years old, last December.

Yeah Mr. John, where are all these old people at? Like, uh, who are they talking about?

I think my dirt bike and even my street bike days are at end :( . Had to get in one last race. I was crying.

But SCUBA diving is pretty low impact, I think I can do that for another 20 years maybe with luck. Have to go easy, be more conservative, not do stupid things regularly as I have done in the past. That is my plan.

Folks, good news.

Off the Wall Adventures will provide a virtual broadcast of @Dr. Doug Ebersole ’s seminar.

I will get dial in data on Monday, 10 January and provide it to participants by DM.

I’m tracking the following tentative participants so far:

1) @Divin'Papaw
2) @tursiops
3) @scubadada
4) @Wookie

If you’d like to attend, please chime in here in this thread and I’ll update the virtual roster.

From my perspective, I think the information will be useful for younger dive instructors dealing with older students, those of us approaching senior years and those of you already arrived.
