worth the asking price, but having to convert the titan to din is an issue if that was your plan on the pony. you have to source NOS for that part i believe at this point, which is not that easy.

Dive gear breeds.
If you only have one they/it/them are hermaphrodites.

great info! I am looking for a second reg for a pony bottle setup. I have apeks xtx200/atx50 but will be doing my own service. I also see a poseidon jetstream / Odin first and second for $100 that Im thinking about grabbing just because of its reputation and being somewhat of a 'different' kind of reg. ohh geeze, which one, which one! or both!?

I hate car analogies, but let me give you one. The Titan is like a Toyota and the Poseidon is like a Porsche or worse a Saab or even Volvo. One you can go to the dealer or even Pep Boys and buy parts and service and the other two, well, good luck with that. I have seen Volvos and Saabs and even Porches sit while waiting on parts, for weeks, or possibly forever. Get the Titan, not the Poseidon.

The linked DIN connector is not for the older Titan first stage. So if DIN is a requirement, I would get neither, the Titan because the DIN conversion is difficult to find and the Poseidon because getting parts or service might be more difficult than finding the correct DIN kit for the Titan.

easy Jimmy! The pep boys analogy is correct in that you can get third party parts for the Titan and they are widely available which is good, but if you go to the Toyota dealership they'll tell you to pound sand. If you go to the Poseidon dealership they'll give you whatever you ask for and even teach you how to fix it!

I hate car analogies but I just drove my 06 Toyota Tacoma with 135,000 miles on the clock 6,500 miles and never once opened the hood or even felt like I might need to check the oil. In fact I some times need to get the OM out to see how to open the hood! Why not, because it is meteor proof!

And so is Aqua Lung!!!!!! And with the ACD, it may outlast a Toyota or at least even me .

Sorry, I had to do it.

@Nemrod you mentioned the rebuild kits are the same for the current core and titan? is that for both first and second stage?
