Yeah I'd rather support struggling local SCUBA shops than save a couple bucks.

But, I'll have to run through that checklist before I decide if I need to do it.

Never thought of it before, I should buy my steak online and then take it to the local steak house to cook it for me and save a couple of bucks. Heck, perhaps I'd ask the chef to just loan me his grill and I'll cook it myself. Two or three dollars will do for his troubles. That should go really well with the chef and the steak house staff I am sure.

Thats what we literally did in Seoul , got some fresh fish on the market and took it to the local closest to the market restaurant:) Paid the prep fee , they did some sashimi, some grilled, it was an awesome experience.

But they had a hand in the prep/cooking. They should have just cleaned it for you and gave to you to cut it and do your own sashimi/sushi rolls :)

That would be really ugly ! :0) I cannot cook properly !

But you would have saved a buck or two doing it yourself :p

I don't know how to cook myself, so when I catch a fish, I'd take it to my friend's restaurant and pay him to cook it for me no problem but I'll pay him for sure. If I catch more than what I can eat, I'd sell him what I can't eat and love to see others enjoy it.
