THIS IS WRONG! I really think people should stop trying to summarize official information on this forum, because this is the second time mis-information has been posted. I know it's not intentional, but it's not good for people to read these non-official posts and have wrong info provided.

Currently the US/Canada is considered HIGH RISK not VERY HIGH RISK, therefore they are not subject to the test 5 days after arrival.

I have edited my post above to remove the 5-day post-arrival test; my bad...was in a hurry.
Thank you for your information. I hope in a thread that is over 405 pages long that was the first error in one of my postings.
I agree about misinformation; it is why I always post the source-information links.

The way the Delta variant is taking off in the US, I wouldn't be surprised to see a ban again soon.

?? There has never been a ban....what do you mean "again"?

No need to pretend you don't know what I'm talking about. You show your ass on here more than the donkey sanctuary. Direct flights from the US were banned. It'll happen again if the current growth in the US holds course.

Yes, you are correct, there was a ban for a while...but the ban was lifted on Jan 15. It was almost 5 months later that the US airlines decided to start flying again.

Has anyone had issues entering Bonaire after overnighting in Atlanta?
I don't remember any reports of this on https://www.facebook.com/groups/239197621144184/?multi_permalinks=351976326532979 so long as people met the 72h or 24h NAAT-testing windows.
Current rule (for vaccinated passengers from the US, which is "high risk") is a negative NAAT/PCR test 72h before arrival. Staying overnight in Atlanta is irrelevant.

Thanks for the quick reply.....we based our 72 hour PCR windows on our departure from Atlanta so we are good there....for some reason I woke up the middle the night wondering if its OK to leave the airport in Atlanta....

Note the 72h window is before arrival in Bonaire, not departure from Atlanta. There is a few hours difference, not in your favor....
