Definitely going to have to try the cocoview :) Also love those boot driers, bulky to bring but starting the dive in Dry Boots is worth it
Boot driers or booty driers? Don't your feet get wet anyway? I guess I don't know what I'm missing...

I would never want to stay anywhere else when I come back to Roatan.
Well, to really be scientific, you need to sample other locations in Roatan. But I'm glad that Doc Adelman has done the science for us :p

The Sharks were all reef sharks. There was 4 different kinds of grouper. Goliath, Black, and I don't know the other 2 kinds.

Yes, your feet are going to get wet anyways, but would you like putting on a wet swimsuit in the morning to go dive? Because its going to get wet anyway! That's why I like starting off with dry booties. Different strokes, for different folks!

I don’t think Bob needs to do a whole lot of field research. He does own a tourist snorkel op on Aruba… At some point you know what you’re seeing.

Point taken though. Roatan is a big place- for such a small island. Get out, look around.

I have been to CCV many times. I've never seen a Manta Ray yet down there. Bob saw them on almost every dive. What am I doing wrong? You say that he knows what he's seeing.

I’ve only ever seen two mantas at CCV, both above the shore dive wreck. My thoughts were more in terms of ArubaBob’s knowledge of dive-ops and familiarity with operations. Too many people (like me) can not remember a critter’s proper names.

CCV is lousy with Stingrays as well as Eagle Rays. I am told there’s a visible distinction between Mobulas and Mantas, but I never noticed- just too excited for details, I guesss.

A big benefit of boots drying rather than staying wet is cutting down on the stink. At the end of a wet boot dive week, I feel bad about whatever I put in the suitcase with them.

Hanging booties on the CCV drying racks for a Friday Noon has always cooked ours quite dry.

Gets rid of what we call CoCo Stink.

All odor free…Except for that predictable rain shower when you are trying to dry out!

Which boot drier do you use. You got me thinking now…:)
