Good day! I'm making a trip home up to coastal VA here in a few weeks and wanted to take advantage of my time to make a detour down to Morehead and hopefully splash on the U-352 wreck. Just wondering what the average water temp/vis is in late April. As a Keys diver I know I am going to freeze haha!

Late April will still be chilly. You might lucky and do a little better, but I would plan for something in the 65-68 range.

Chilly is a relative term, I am heading to the U853 next month, the surface water temp today is 41F!

Hi Tyler,

Contact Discovery in Beaufort or Olympus in Morehead City.

You will likely have to do some slight pre-planning as the U-352 is not visited every day, and because it's one of the furthest out of the regularly dived wrecks, it is very weather dependent.

I've been on the U-352 four times, one of my favorites.

Rose.

Anyone diving the wreck tomorrow with Olympus? Timing worked out perfectly to dive the boat on the anniversary of its sinking
