What is the best month of the year to see the most spectacular big pelagics in action ?
Only the Ferox goes there or is there another one ?
Thanks !

Cant answer that but before coming here know that we are experiencing a huge Covid surge right now and many cities have very stringent quarantines.

In the months with colder water (dec - march) the hammerheads come to shallower water. This is also the time when the Ferox can be seen but of course it is very rare.

Silkies and whale sharks are more common from may to september.

Do you think sept is a very good month to see most of the action like in Galapagos ?

I will be on Ferox end of July too ... finger crossed !

I hope to see @CWK too! :)

We are going to have a mini SB surge in Malpelo then. :)
I would love to be able to go to Malpelo, but I regret to advise that I am currently in Covid lockdown and by law cannot travel more than 10 km from my home. Fingers crossed ...
