3415 has a lot of dives in, but not cleaning boat hulls so have yet to encounter anything that has damaged them, have also used the 3416 and I may try them again on the Rolock system which makes glove loading easy no matter what gloves I’ve tried. So far the 3415 has performed perfectly.

Thanks for the review. I have never tried them due to their low cut rating... But it'd be interesting to get some more reviews on that particular glove just to see if there's an anomaly.

What other drygloves have you tried? What are you comparing the 3415 to?

I used to use Viking thick rubber (not sure of the model, more like hi voltage electrician gloves) those were nice since the rubber offered some good insulation alone but to easy to cut, I patched them many times but gave up on them for 660 esd having used other orange and the blue versions which worked fine but just didn’t like the color, any way the ESD didn’t come in size 11 and the 10 was a bit to snug to use thicker liners. I’ll head out to the shop and see what old gloves are still there with numbers intact. The 3416 are nice, tough gloves and do become more supple with use.

(Deleted - sorry!)

Some gloves still sitting around, can’t find the Vikings which I know I sealed up to store.

Interestingly the 3415’s mounted to the ultima are a lot thicker than the newest one I have, more like the 3416 but with the lighter liner

Also tried these, warmer than anything else but really stiff, don’t know the cut rating

That 6781 is interesting... Like a 3415 with a warmer liner.

It's still lacking in the cut rating - and the "1" is probably coming from the liner, not the glove... Which doesn't do us any good.

But it's very cool to have another person trying things out and giving a review. Keep 'em coming!

Have you tried the 720s?

Regarding the 490/495....essentially they are the same exterior PVC dipped glove...very similar to the SHOWA 660.

I am not a fan of the SHOWA PVC dipped gloves at all...they are cut quite large, and the material becomes a bit stiff when cold.

The nitrile dipped 720 (720R) is a bit more form fitting, is stretchier, more durable overall, and does not seem to stiffen up in cold air/water the same way the PVC dipped gloves do. For use with under-gloves I use one size up...I use a set of XL 720s with under-gloves and a set of L 720s if I am going without under-gloves....to be honest, I don't really switch between the two sizes as my wife wife uses the size L on her setup...so I just run the XL most of the time with or without the under-gloves and all has been well with my world.

My first concern with dry gloves is “dry” (meaning mount well to the rings) second requirement is not blue.
