The Inspector model and gallon ziplock bags is what I carry. It's not going to be completely accurate in the PPM (1/1,000,000) readings as you'll suck some air in when you fill, and then there is some drift over the 2 year life of the battery and sensor, but it'll get your approximate values. If you get a 10, REJECT! And if the alarm goes off while driving your car or sleeping in your room, GET OUT! And it really is as tough as they claim. Mine rode with my khaki trousers thru a complete wash cycle with bleach once. No problem.

It's time to send mine in for battery & sensor replacement required every two years. I add a dated tag to mine when it returns. I wish the sale worked on that.

So, you just Chuck the sensor in a big, fill it from your tank, and look at what it says? How often do you have to calibrate it? I tried looking on the site, but it's not a huge fan of my phone...

$49. It's under Support at the PURCHASE A CALIBRATION SERVICE link. I'm pretty sure that covers sensor & battery replacement, but I'm not sure. I tried to call, but they close at 4 pm Eastern. I'll call tomorrow. If it were much more, I'd just order a new one for $97.

Bag, yes. I use gallon bags with handles on the zip for easy closing. Leave the unit on, crack the tank valve, bill the bag, close, and wait a few minutes. One time I put the bag on first, then crack the tank, and the bag with unit flew out of the boat into the water. Don't do that.

I phoned again. I get the usual recording but no one answeedr at Option 1. I suppose that they took off for the holiday without changing the recording thinking that everyone would know that they are closed for this Friday holiday. I returned mine for a new sensor & battery service in 2016 & 2018, but I can't remember for sure exactly how I arranged that. I'm sure that the price was well below the current sale price of $96.75, but I'd like a definite answer before proceeding. Yeah, their site could explain better.

Thanks for the link. This might be 1/2 of a good replacement for my Cootwo (great idea, OK execution, terrible customer service). I don't like the gallon bag idea, but I'm thinking of something like this:

The fittings are all off-the-shelf. The flow reduction inside the tubing fittings could be a simple as filling the fitting with hot-melt glue and then putting a pinhole through it.

How about the gallon bag with the kit that comes with an air sampler pump? Just used code to get one now.
