I am using small size cookies from Deep Sea Supply to keep the levers on my 109's depressed, know some guys that still use those on theirs

have them on my 2 mk 5 bought in 69 and 70 i believe the cost of the regs were $105 each.

Probably right after the G250 came out. I have some of these laying around, have one in the simon sale pics, they also had a lanyard that slipped one the reg in front of the mouthpiece and a roach clip to clip it off to the b/c. I usually just put a bent q tip in the same place when storing a 109.

If you truly inserted them for really "prolonged storage" the old rubber diaphragm covers would take a set and get ruined.
