Hello All,

Anyone have any recommendations of specific things you wish you had brought aboard this specific vessel?

BTW this is my 5th LOB and my wife's 2nd, but first with the Aggressor fleet :)

Also, any wi-fi on board or any cell signal?

I did the Aggressor III last year-- Trip report here. Not a massive difference between the two boats. What differences there are can be found by doing a search here on Scubaboard. Belize Aggressor III Trip Report – April 21-28

No WIFI -- plan on being disconnected for the week. I think we got a random cell signal here and there, but nothing to rely on.

Thx Trailboss. Just surprised I don't see any newer reviews of the BAIV.

Yeah-- Haven't seen anything too recent either. BAIV is a bigger boat and roomier overall. That is the major difference. Otherwise, they operate similarly.

Bring plastic clips to secure your wet clothes to the railings while drying the.The scooters are free to use and the videos can be downloaded after you get back to wifi or possibly during the trip if you get the phone app beforehand.

No one knew the scooters were for our use until a few days in.

Sit on the hang bar for a while if the boat is moored so that it gets a good swing preferably out over a wall and back. Beats most roller-coasters.

What are ‘scooters’ ?

Don’t forget your dive hats that cover your ears for nightdiving...keep those bloodworms out..

the guys on the boat are really good. They always say ‘ make requests of us and we will get it if we can’ and they honestly really try to. Last trip on the 111, one of the divers asked in advance for coconut water and they had a couple of gallons fresh waiting for her when she arrived. I always cart a 2 litre canister of whipping cream everywhere I go and bring my own coffee, they said they would have been able to find the whipping cream no issue and next time just ask in advance and they will have it on board.

Other things people forgot last trip on ba3 that you may want to bring..( I carry extras of all of these and am usually the walking pharmacy/gopro/camera saviour)

Scopal patches
Antihistamines
Advil liqui
Alka seltzer
Spare gopro underwater housing
Spare SD card
Spare gopro batteries/charger
Gopro-USB wire for downloads
Tube of ‘icyhot’
External hard drive
Sudafed ( everyone’s sinuses get shot after 4/5 days of 5 dives a day)
Spare diving hood (nightdive bloodworms)

I did the BAIV the week before @Trailboss123 . I also did a trip report here. Nice roomy boat. We brought everything that was suggested to us at the time and was well-prepared. Strong clips for drying swimsuits and clothing. Saved my hubby’s feet by bringing nylon socks to wear inside booties to prevent blisters. While we did bring 1% over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream for general skin flare ups, we eventually were offered stronger 10% prescription strength from a fellow passenger/doctor to treat my hubby - something in the water gave him a weird skin reaction.

Personally I hated the hang bar. First few times I hung on it, nearly got my reg ripped out of my mouth and strangled by my long hose. After that, I did my safety stops under the boat near the ladder but safely away from the hang bar. Lesson learned.
