It looks like this blenny is sticking out it's tongue. However, since I have several shots the same way I am guessing it is the end of his last meal? Has anyone else seen this?

Are all your other shots from the same position, angle? I don't think its a tongue, but perhaps something in surrounding habitat? If you look mid body to left, there appears to be something similar..just a hunch..

Pikeblenny peeking out of a hole in one of those sand volcanoes. A divemaster told us a certain worm builds those sand volcanoes.
