That's more like $40 RT in bus and ferry costs.

And there's no fighting for a seat on SWA, especially as a single traveler. You see an empty seat, you sit down. No shuffling down the aisle trying to see what row number you are at then which side of the plane seat A is, and then figuring out if A is aisle or window.

Hey, we will be there at that time. It would be great to finally meet you, unless we already did meet and didn't know it.
Sounds great. When we get close enough for a roll-call thread, maybe we can organize a simple SB supper meeting. CajunDiva and her hubby will be there Feb 7-16, but they'll be herding a Louisiana group, so who knows with them? I like cheap places like Los Otates or Las Palmas.

Yeah, $40 for bus & ferry plus $20 for tricycle porters, but still not enough saved to want to go thru Cancun. I didn't like their flight times either. And I like my aisle seat guaranteed and reserved in advance.

That would be fun. I know I've met Scubaboard members there but we never have talked about it.

I should mention that we stayed at Henrys place a few years ago when he was still trying to start a shop.

Los Otates is cheap...but dang GOOD!

I’d love to join ya, but I’ll be a bit east of you guys on the Brac that week!

We met up a couple of years back for lunch, and he took me to a nice, cheap place near his casa. Too far for me to hike, but an honest cab should be cheap for that zone. Might have difficulties getting one back, but I need to ask him the name and location still.

You know his pickup was broken into recently? The copes caught the punk, and Henry wanted to post his bail to release him to his care. The copes towed his pickup to impound and he was having hell getting it back last I heard.

Las Palmas is also, and only a couple of blocks further back, but then those blocks are larger than we use around here. Lost Otates sounds more well known and popular. Ok, let's plan there, February 8, 7:06pm. :)

A great meat and chicken place is just north a few blocks. We really like it but they close at 5 or 6PM

If it's the 8th, it'll be without me. No way I can be there then. We'll just meet up for lunch one day.
I was half joking at picking a date already, but you said you arrive on February 7th?
