Looking for parts to repair my bumble f*&#ery that I performed on my GF's UW quacker. I've tried DiveAlert - too old and not supported anymore. If you've got one, or parts of one (I'm looking for the button spring closure plug specifically) I'll be happy to take it off your hands. Thanks in advance but I'm thinking this is a long shot.

Is this what you are looking for?

yep - that's the one - fancy case and all. Yours has a different QD style than hers and is missing the o-ring from the exhaust port (I just replaced hers but have 1 left if you want it). If it's for parts, yeah I'll take it but hate to see such a nice unit parted out. See if it leaks from the spring closure opposite the button as that's where both of hers failed.

I'll check. I've only tried it once on land.

What size is the O-ring you mentioned? Does it go in that slot in the right, between the logo and cap?

Not sure of the size as I haven't measured it. I'll have to get back to you on it as it's at home and calipers are at work. yeah you got the right location - that open slot. It's mostly just a muffler/filter to keep the shmoo out of the internals and doesn't really seal anything. I probably shouldn't have trashed her old one as it still served its purpose though badly cracked - it would have served until it eventually broke. If yours is leaking out of the closure plug, a -906 or a -111 should work once you get the plug out. I used a -111 but it was hour-glass shaped instead of round and was a tight fit to get in - seals great but you can't torque the plug down flush like the original. The -906 may be a better choice
