Anyone have a good picture of both options? ...ie: wrapped around the canister, and tucked into the belt?

Hi
Not really sure if there any need of buying canister simulator or moving knife, left right, right left :) for me it's working fine as is written above just tuckle it under the belt and tighten when you experience more suit squeeze. No rocket science :)

KISS for me going forward. I'll put my shears on the right hip and tuck the hose under the shears sheath. Done.:)
Try saying Shears Sheath a few times.:wink::wink::wink:

I usually tuck the hose into the harness belt (don't wear a weight belt). I will say that it tends to come out during the dive and you have to stuff it/adjust it periodically.

However I went diving today and took the advice of pushing it all the way back to the back plate so it forms a much larger U shape on your thigh rather than tucking it into the front of the belt (small U). Tucking it in and pushing it back towards the back plate (pushing back just half of the hose/half of the U shape so it forms a large U on your thigh) resulted in me not having to adjust it once/it not popping out once. Thanks for the advice! No reason for a "fake" can light.

I'm glad I posted this thread. Whenever you think you have a problem, you are probably not alone and asking around will shed light on to this subject. Just like it has done here.

I've never used a canister torch. I tuck my long hose into my waistband. I find that my buckle tends to hold the hose in place.

I have a couple neat little toys. The one on the left is a delrin stick made by Halcyon. The one on the right is the same thing in lead, weighing 2.5 pounds and made by a fantastically clever guy who works at my local dive shop. LOVE the lead stick.
