Air2 with a BP & Wing

You guys crack me up. Somehow the 22" Combo Octo is a "reef dragger" but a standard octo on a 5 or 6 ft hose is not. Wait, I guess you can clip off the standard octo or somehow secure it to you while diving so it won't drag the reef but you can't do that with a combo. Nope. Just not possible.

To suggest I've said things I *never* have is dishonest.

I have *never* advocated 5 or 6 ft hose on a back up reg. 24 inch on a bungee under your chin is where the back up reg belongs.

Is it possible to use an Air2 style secondary with a BP & W?

I have learned on a knighthawk BCD and looking for something less bulky for travel. I like simple things but when I dive I am normally toting fishing stuff etc and looking for a sturdy but compact no frills BCD replacement. I've looked at some of the travel BCDs but I think I would be happier with a BP&W.

On the BP&W, what do you think of the more elaborate harnesses? Are they more comfortable for warm water diving. I know the DIR people swear by simple webbing but I dive without a wetsuit 99% of the time.

From personal experience in tropical SE Asia, my one piece webbing is not comfortable diving without a rash guard or light thermal protection.

If a driver's equipment drags the reef that it divers fault not .the gear. My air2 never drags the reef. Cost wise the deal I got made it very compatible to an Octo.

Is a combo octo inflator useable on a 13 inch corrugated hose, or does it require much longer corrugated and LP hoses?

Which is more likely to drag the bottom, a 22-24-26 inch corrugated hose with combo octo or a 13 inch corrugated hose with a simple inflator?
