Could you elaborate on why only "a couple" of dives? Are you on a cruise ship or just coming over from the mainland for a day or something like that?
Afternoon dives are less common than morning dives. Yes, the dive ops offer afternoon, twilight, and night dives, and some divers insist on doing two morning dives and one or two additional dives in the afternoon/evening. But the dive ops generally offer a 2-tank morning as the "base" or standard package, and only do afternoon dives based on demand. If your schedule allows morning dives, I don't see why you would choose afternoon dives instead.
So, just wandering as far as the diving itself what if any is the difference besides the obvious times?
Morning = deeper, afternoon = shallowerOpinions on morning vs afternoon dives?
Morning = deeper, afternoon = shallower
I would not think that is true if you were on a strictly afternoon schedule. Maybe for the DM if they dove that morning....Morning = deeper, afternoon = shallower
