Yes, and you will only see the good comments (and yours) because they can hide the "this is scam because ..." comments.
I never trust a social media that helps the writer delete the disagreements (I'm not talking about other violations).

Indeed a scam. But they managed to raise a lot of money from suckers.

Refunded! Artificial ‘Gills’ Scam Comes Clean

There's some (admittedly high risk) investment plans that could yield a nifty profit in the short term between raising and refunding.

Something I just noticed on their web site (not IGG pages) Tritongills

While they refer to the IGG site, the straight internet page does not refer to the "liquid oxygen" nonsense in any manner, shape, or form. It has remained unchanged as to content since the start.

Two days later, the "liquid oxygen" ad copy mysteriously has appeared on the internet site--which makes me think that they have someone who reads the posts about them on the internet and they plug holes when pointed out.

We have finally the pricing for the liquid oxygen canisters.
The price will be $17.99 per unit.

We are working with the refill canisters and we will have them ready before the launch, we will also present them here on Indiegogo.

There will be a full list of our partners and distributors where you can you purchase your canister, the canisters will be filled when you make an order so they will have a longer shelf life.

Thank you for a amazing support, and also thank you for the countless of nice emails you are sending us, we can't thank you enough for this great support.

Have a great day everyone.

Best regards
Saeed, Jeabyun, JOhn

Been a little while, so I thought I'd check in on how the scam was going. That's an amazing price for filled liquid O2 canisters packed in dewars. Lol. I was waiting for the, "But wait, there's more!!!", as seen on tv line.

I know these will never ship, but I can't wait to see the price and instructions on the refillable canisters. Mostly the instructions on how people would get fills. Lol

And if people actually did the research, they would find $36/dive is expensive. I'll stick to my $8 fills at my LDS.... You know, where I can have a 130 cuft. of gas and a much deeper dive without the risk of toxing out.

I've compared it to a train wreck--you know something horrible is about to happen, but you just can't look away.

Despite all the articles, warnings and the obvious junk science, some 900+ people have pledged ~$365,000.00 for this thing, bound and determined to lose their money to this scam for some reason.

I don't get it.

Oh, and can someone ID the dive shops that are working with them, according to the following?

Ya know @John A Lewis, what's really sad is I think a lot of people have the perception that scuba is too expensive and they believe this product gets past that. When in reality if you wanted to scuba you can do it for pretty cheap assuming you buy used gear.

Look at the comparison here (I realize there is no comparison because Triton does not and will not exist)...

Phantom Triton retail price $400.
Magical Liquid O2 cylinders at $36 plus shipping.
Total $436+ plus $36/dive and limited to 15 ft.
You would still need fins, mask and a weight belt plus lead.

Vs.

My LDS charges $150 for OW.
You can find a used AL80 for ~$75.
A used BCD for ~$150
And a decent used reg set for $150.
Total $525 plus ~$10 air fills and certified to 60 ft.
And just like with Triton, you would still need fins, mask and a weight belt plus lead.

Hell, if you look hard enough you can find complete lightly used scuba packages on Craigslist for about what Triton wants.

With all the publicity and so many non divers wanting that product I don't get why more peopled don't just take up scuba diving if they really want to dive.

Did the first set of suckers er I mean investors get ALL of their cash back? Just curious if there was a fee charged. Anyone know?
