Ted McCoy and his DPV students came across a CCR diver swimming in circles by the Maple Leaf today. They helped him to find the line and then tried to tow him to safety. Unfortunately, he expired on the way out. They clipped him to the line and exited to get the body recovery team going. I've heard he was with an OC diver, but I'm not clear on that.
I have no idea who this was, what CCR he was on or what went wrong with the CCR. Going by the account, it would appear to be hypercapnia, which can cause confusion and even delirium.
