Not even a parent,... Grandparent. Not even his own kids, but his kid's kids.
Are you saying you would have been OK with renting a tank to a parent??? Then what is your point?

Odd. You can find several cases of people dying on scuba in a pool in less than five seconds by googling "scuba pool death"
Non professional divers taking very young children diving (even in a pool)
Whether it's boating under the influence or putting your kids on scuba in a pool, I think the world has moved on--for the better.
I doubt the kids would fit in the bcd and tank.... So he was probably intending on doing what i do. Assemble the gear, inflate the bcd, throw it in the pool..... Kids swim on surface with a mask on having a blast "scuba diving", dragging the unit around until you pry the reg out of thier mouth because they are turning blue or run out of air.
I think we agree on something here. If he had not said anything,... then because of our ignorance of his intentions, we would have likely sold/ rented him what he wanted. If the child had died & we found out,... I would think anyone with any sense of conscience would feel badly. Being that at that point we had no way of knowing, there is some "relief",... Knowing what he planned & having it happen,... would be very tough to know it could have been prevented.
Yes but not kids diving with family members. You guys are saying kids diving with a family member is too dangerous. I'm done with you Internet divers. You guys need to dive more and post less.
