We are currently working on a compatibility issue that causes an update loop with some Windows 8 machines when you are updating and need to "Repair" firmware. USB 3.0 ports can also create an error with updating. If you are updating your LifeLine on a Windows 8 platform, please make sure you are connecting via a USB 2.0 port.

Thank you Peter!

Hi,

I have a problem since my Lifeline is updated to 0.64 firmware. I'm block with this version. When i want to upgrade to 0.80, the device reboot but no usb drive is detected.

Test with 3 computer, Windows 8.1, 8, 7 and XP. Also boot ths iso image linux with the tools. Look into /var/log/messages, no device detect except the ACM wich communicate with the software.

Nautilus support ask me to drain the battery to 0%. And verify that the LF doesn't power on. Connect to the computer, but it's the same thing.

What can i do ?

Thanks

Best Regards

This is a firmware bug associated with firmware version 0.64. Solution can be found here: (Support) Firmware Details v0.76. The most important thing is that after fully draining the battery and connecting to a computer, the Lifeline should show a 50% charge. Any other percentage indicates that the battery was not fully drained. If the 50% charge is displayed, it may still take several attempts to upgrade the firmware. If after several attempts it does not work, please contact our head office sales@nautiluslifeline.com and we can issue an RMA.

Thank you
