My second day with aeris accel. Size s/m for boot size 9/42. Using 5mm soft sole. It's kinda sloppy sometimes. But of course you can tighten the strap up. But I think I'm fine with sloppy a bit.

I think performance might be slightly lower than scubapro jet fins. But for leisure, I don't see problem at all. I can fight heavy current too just like others with normal fins. Same efforts.

I also want to purchase a travel fin for our Phillipines trip at the end of this month. We went to our LDS and checked out the Hollis F2's, and yes, it was agreed that the generous foot pocket is better designed for a drysuit rockboot. Unfortunately, they did not sell the Aeris Accels.

Soooo.... bassed on advice from buddhasummer and others on this thread, I am putting my faith in my fellow SB'ers and placed an online order with Leisurepro. This is my first LP order as I really do try to support our LDS (who consistently provides us with great customer service).

I really hope it turns out the fit is OK - XS for me (size 6.5/7W) and a Reg for DH (size 11.5M). I will post after we get back from our trip and let you know..

I bought xs and wear a size 8 women so you should be fine. However I did need to buy a pair of hard sole booties...3mil it wear with them for a good it. I also bought my low cut booties the same time I placed my order a with leisure pro for the fins.
service was great and I am getting ready to but a few more things from them.

Im almost 100% sure based on our similar foot size XS will be fine. They are not without their limitations, true of any small fin, but for their intended usage i.e travel I think they are great. I was shocked at how little they weigh. Please post back as I'm interested in your thoughts. I think you'll like them. Enjoy your trip.

Not only light but tough. I was surprised how little they even scratched over two weeks of diving the Bonaire ironshore. They should last me forever.

I'm using shoe size 9(us). S/M which they only put S on the sizing chart is perfect for me.

Tried Regular on the shop and it's way too big.

Seems u will be fine

Yes, I already own a pair and XS is fine, my post was in response to gasgirls post. There are a couple of different sizing charts floating about which initially created some confusion, well for me anyway. I advised Aeris of this last year and they did at least correct their website.

Just got back from a liveaboard trip. First time using my accel in the water. It worked like a champ. The lightweight and the shorter length translated to easier mobility on the dive boat and dinghy. I liked it a lot better than the Atomic split-fin and it kicked with more power. Good maneuverability and it felt a bit stiff under the water. No problem power through the mild currents with relative ease. My fins got scratched up a lot though - war scars I guess. Given the price, quality, and performance, I highly recommend it for warm/tropic water diving. I am size 9 and my accel is a size S. I have pretty wide feet but the pocket is wide enough to accommodate. Thought of changing the silicon straps to spring straps. Can anyone made the strap change share some experience?

I put on some seawing Nova bungee straps work a treat, fit straight on.
