I got my 2 stubby video lights and made a GoPro setup. Hero Black 3+ with the Switchblade filter from PolarPro.

I'm going to change the zip ties to hose clamps. Puts out some nice light!

Unfortunately, there is not a good handle available for the impact light. DRIS said that the only one that will work is the soft handle from the shorty light. As most people experienced, this handle falls apart due to the poor construction. DRIS does not provide a warranty on these handles and said that they couldn't help when mine fell apart within 6 months. I think I'll wait until there is a good handle with warranty available before I invest in another DRIS light.

Swappable heads between Spot and Wide. In the stubby vs. shorty, there is a AA battery vs. Rechargeable difference

i'm sorry to see that the AA option in the shorty isn't repeated in the stubby. I would have loved to pick up a pair of stubbies, one with each head, but I was first drawn to the DRIS lights when I learned of the AA option in the shorty. I'm sure I'll be happy with the shorty, but shoot, that would've been cool.

Do you know who you talked to about it falling apart Whysocold? Sorry so late, I just saw this response. Email me at mike@diverightinscuba.com and we will ship you out a new one. That is not what should have been said by any means, and I hope you know who told you so I can take care of that issue.
