He had me take my wet suit, put it in a mesh bag and see how much weight it took to sink it (36#).
Wow, that is some wetsuit. Have you considered going dry?

Not really, I like diving wet. It's just 7mm farmer john and shorty.Wow, that is some wetsuit. Have you considered going dry?
Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
DSS is the only company of the three who's owner I can name, and who has actually called me to talk me out of something that I put in my online order. Good products, good service, good online presence, prices nothing to complain about... I've bought 3 rigs from him. Well, 2 direct, one through a local retailer when I realized that was possible. I like to support my LDS.
I will be looking at getting a 40# wing as I dive Drysuit and carry 26 pounds weight plus us a 100 HP Steel.
The biggest concern I am finding with the DSS wing is they can be quite floppy from what I am being told and most of the wing styles are horseshoe style instead of a donut style. I will probably just buy a Aluminum back plate that I can swap out for traveling purposes and thus I know the wing will be over sized when I am diving warm water.
The shop I dive with (and contract teach for) is a Oxycheq dealer and so I am getting pressure to lean in that direction. I would actually be saving money going with the DSS and I like the look of them but I am concerned about the comments of their wings being floppy. Great comments so far, any more thoughts or comments are welcomed, thanks everyone.
Dss is Tobin, Oxycheq is Patrick, Halcyon is Jarod or JJ, Hog is Chris, Dive Rite is Lamar. Now you know them all.
