Who has the best PIZZA on the island?

Right - I had my ' in the wrong spot - 'Ohana..........Lanai'i Ali'i, ukulele - just give me a mai tai and shut the f$&* up!

The pizza at Ohana is VERY GOOD. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed. I grew up in the Chicagoland area and my favorite was always Uno's. Ohana's is pretty darn close for me...especially considering where we are. In addition, I'm told that Matteo stuffs his own sausage and it really tastes like home. Sausage and bacon there is to die for.

And after that...having the peanut butter-tequila dessert shot is a must. That recipe is probably more closely guarded than that of the pizza.

As for the best pizza - that is soooo subjective - just like "Who is the best dive op? and Who has the best Margaritas? etc.

I personally am a thin crunchy crust lover - so I like Sorrissi, Guidos and Rolandi's. I order delivery from Domino's as well - no different than Domino's in the states other than we have some additional options with ingredients that are popular with locals.

I DO like the deep dish pizza at Ohana's, but I can never eat more than one piece! I know it's pretty true Chicago deep dish - but deep dish is more of a pizza pie than a pizza to me For me, I don't want to have to eat my pizza with a fork or spoon - haha! I like to pick it up and bite into it

I've always heard Blue~XT~Diving was the best around!

Le Chef does a very nice shrimp and guallio( likely not spelled correctly) pizza. A little smaller than Guidos but similar crust.

WHO GOES TO MEXICO TO EAT MEXICAN FOOD????

Being from Oklahoma/Texas area, I VASTLY prefer our Tex Mex to anything I can get in Mexico other than seafood dishes lol. I will put my local place up against anything Cozumel has for Mexican lol.

I would rather experience all the different and exciting places that I DON'T have here locally......

I DO, LOL.

I can understand that some people are more finicky eaters than others, and that if you live in Coz pizza becomes a necessity at some point. But If i am going to mexico for a week I am for darn sure going to eat at the local places every chance I get. I enjoy traveling and trying the local scene. give me a mom and pop diner, or a taqueria run by mi amigo's abuelita anytime.

Jerry, Start making your dining plans now because there are so many wonderful places to choose from. And if you want Mom & Pop- do try Chilango's on Avenida 10 between Calle 13 and 15 (I think-or at least close to there). It is open for lunch until 4ish I think. Have an awesome trip !!!!

Brules- you are so right, if you want Tex Mex then TEXAS is the place to be. However, for those who like true Mexican cuisine then go to Mexico. Due to my food allergy, I can't even get near a Tex-Mex dish. Even walking too close to the bin of Jalapeño peppers at the HEB causes my throat to close. But, I can and most certainly do enjoy the Mexican dishes with the Mayan influence very much in Cozumel. Regardless, we need to follow what makes us happy. Enjoy !

You know there are at least 3 "Mission" restaurants that are related but fairly different, and at least 2 entirely dissimilar "Chilangos" restaurants, right?

Um, dude? I'm an Aggie and spent a very long time living in Texas. I dearly love Tex-Mex food. There is very little actual Mexican food in the southwest. I'm not saying it isn't manna from heaven. I'm saying it's almost entirely not Mexican.
