Ditto on the drysuit, add the flip fins and DRIS 1000 for good measure.

I'm not quite sure about what I would give me the best value for the money. In terms of what has been the best purchase for me was my Zeagle Stiletto BC for $500. Not exactly cheap, but not too expensive either. As a diver having my own BC and then getting my weight dialed in made the biggest and quickest improvement in my skills.

As for a great deal, my LDS was selling an Ikelite PCa LED for $46. I picked one up just for fun since it wasn't too expensive. It was actually brighter than my Intova LED I was using before that at twice the price. I liked the Ikelite so much during a night dive I went back and bought another before they were all sold out.

the best money I've ever spent was on my Galileo Luna. It is a wonderful computer and worth so much more than I paid for it. The second best would be my Aqualung Legend reg...it keeps me alive and does a great job of it so I can't leave it out

Learning to dive and my Drysuit with pee value :D

BP/W came to mind first, followed by drysuit and She-P. :D

BP/W from DSS (Thanks Tobin, it changed my way of diving). Any BP/W would have probably done it, but Tobin's phone call before shipping changed my appreciation for buoyancy and trim considerations.

I'm especially fond of my Seasoft Stealth boots. They sure make rocky sites a lot nicer to traverse.

I do wish they went up higher though, I think I sacrificed a little warmth. Of course by the time that matters it's drysuit time.

Pete
