Check it out...Cozumel finally has an English radio station broadcasting online. Great tunes and lots of local info from dive shops and other services. Be listening for some familiar voices. Daily dive reports to begin next week! Follow them on Facebook at Cozumel Radio and TUNE IN at: cozumelradio.net

playing on my desktop right now ;) very cool, good luck with your new venture. probably hear it on the boat when there

You know, there are only a few things about Cozumel I don't like, but one of them is the proliferation of gringo music coming (sometimes blasting) at me from all sides the whole time I am there. I know they do it to make us gringos feel at home, but I am on vacation in another country. I don't want to feel at home. I would prefer to hear Mexican, Caribbean, and South American music, or better still, turn the %^%&! thing off and let's listen to the lapping of the waves.

end rant

You been hanging out at Carlos & Charlies or Sr. frogs again...LOL!

Eva says hi & you need to visit sooner than next May.

I dunno Gordo. When I was at my Capitan's home for dinner, the preferred music was gringo pop. And his ipod is the same. He particularly enjoys the one that goes, "Oh my gosh Becky, look at her butt." He does seem to put a reggae station on the radio on the boat while following the dive, so maybe that's a little more Carib. I wouldn't mind some more reggae around. I did buy the CD from the Latinga, the group on the yellow ferry. They aren't bad at all. I love to suck on a Sol on a boat ride, listening to them and looking at Coz coming closer!

Mike, the station is online only. One of our major goals is to send a little bit of Cozumel to those Cozaholics who aren't on the island, hopefully encouraging them to come down and visit! But the locals here are certainly enjoying it as well. You can listen on a mobile device, you may or may not need to download the app for Live365. Thanks for tuning in!

1st tune I heard was "Toes", Zac Brown Band. Liked it and bought the tune for my mp3. More island music for when I'm not on the island. Spanish or not I've liked what I've heard so far.
Bookmarked...
Thanks!!!
