I got my certification throught IANTD. That is the nice thing about Rob. He has blended his courses to fit several agencies so you really get alot of knowledge and perform more skills during your certification.

Congratulations, guys!!!

Most of the dives I have had in Hole have been in that 40 foot range. Still a cool cave even when only seeing 40 foot at a time.

40 feet. Not the best, but Rob said around this time of the year it turns bad until April and then it clears back up.

Thanks!
Basic cave really was a great course. We learned some valuable lessons, I had my primary light die while doing another drill which wasn't planned by the instructor!

And Walter got tangled in his own line and thought it was me trying to hog tie him. I love it when things happen on their own (it makes my job easier :D ), but why do I get all the blame!!! :dontknow:

Visibility in Hole in the Wall was the best I've seen it in a few months. I went back today with Jen and went downstream and had similar conditions to upstream. A couple of weeks ago, visibility was only about 10-20'. Like I told the guys in class, Hole is a strange cave. While it traditionally turns in October/November and doesn't give us the best diving conditions through the winter months. It did the exact opposite last winter and may be doing the same this year. Walter, you may not have to wait for April to see better conditions in Hole. I'll keep you updated on what it's doing.

Congratulations to everyone! You all did great and I'm proud to have my name on your cards!!

Congrats and great job guys. I only saw you for a minute as cruised on by but I know you guys had a blast. Welcome to our world!!

I happened to look back and the two of you appeared out of no where and cruised past us. I had a blast but now a dry suit is a must!

I don't have enough meat on my bones to stay warm for the longer dives. I see a black ice in the near future!

I cant blame you, I get cold watching you guys dive wet.

Kevin even with your dry suit I seem to remember you dancing around my heater last year! :D I have to admit, I am not looking forward to breaking the heater out again. Kevin if we do another dive when it is sleeting like we did last year....I'm with Jonathan, I think Ed is going to sell another Black Ice Dry Suit!
