Sabrina's not on here to defend herself, but she did not remember doing that to Tommy but does remember Carolyn's Bahama Mama's may have contributed to whatever she did do. If my foggy memory serves, she got a little frisky with DJ, then Tommy took over. Now, that was just a little too much "man-love" for me.

@Tommy Glad you are okay. You scared us. One minute you were knocking on our bathroom window. We told you to go away and then we heard you fall.

I want to thank everyone who bought an official Vortoberfest Tee-Shirt. James, the person who made them, says that if anyone still wants one he will be glad to print and mail. James is a member of the board now but I don't know his handle. Also - thanks to all who made donations toward Johnny Mac and Tamilynn. They are the best and we hope to keep them coming back over and over.

I talked at great length with the owner of Vortex, Mr. Kelly, on Sunday. He is a developer but the recreation/retail side of the house is new to him. He wants to improve the diving aspect of the business and is making strides to do so. He welcomes legitimate suggestions and comments.

Thanks again even though it was a working weekend for me I really enjoyed the fest and am looking forward to the next one. Thanks NetDoc and your lovely lady for coming all the way up here to support us. I'm really glad you got to dive Cypress, one of my favorite places.

Tommy

He called and we chatted this week as well. I know that there is a bit of bad blood, but he seems to want to do things right. Let's tell him what we think, but let's do it in a respectful manner.

He can start by paying the people he books, Johnny Mac & co.

I second that.

Well - that is a story in itself - Lowell didn't book JM but Shane did. Then Lowell was blindsided by an invoice from JM. At first I was angry but then it hit me that we were bold in expecting the springs to pay for our entertainment. It worked out ok in the end. The event was planned ahead but was met with a midstream management change. Stuff happens. Next time we will be prepared. A lot of animosity seems to come from the firing of Shane. I will be glad to fill you in on the events privately but will not do so on the net. My suggestion is that we book JM and Tam for our events and through sponsors or donations pay for our own entertainment in future events.
