Thanks to those who are doing all the legwork to find the owner of this camera. This thread has to be one of the best I have ever seen. I have the same housing and camera and it is good to know how well they hold up. I would like to think that if I lost mine someone would go to the lengths that you guys have to get it back to me.

Nah, most would download the manual. Insure yours! I used to suggest a Personal Articles Policy with State Farm but they won't write that for non-customers anymore. See your Homeowners agent about a Scheduled property rider, and - download pics or change cards daily.

It's funny how we sometimes look at the outside world.

I am honest with others, I expect the same in return. I haven't really been disappointed.

I suppose it couldn't hurt to put your name and address inside the housing or on your dive lights, etc.

Yeah, I'm a cynic. I'd try to return found property, but I put my name on everything and insure much of it.

Why not contact Ikelite with the entire story? I'll bet they'd get in on it for the promotional value alone, the story, etc. Maybe offer a free camera to the folks that lost it and as a reward for whoever links it to the real owners?

The tooth was white, and was narrow and sharp with a razored edge. It may have been from a large snapper or something similar.

Well, then it's obvious... all we need to do is search the dental records. Duh!
