Have you ever seen video of a nomad Orca in the water with a defenseless human. The orca eats mammals, but for some reason it shows control of that instinct and does not eat the human.

What point are you making here?

I have shown control in this thread; others have not.

Define 'control'

My goal in life is to be in control, so that when I have something to ad to life, the people who know me will understand that I rarely jump to unfounded conclusions. Others do not seem to care.

This doesn't hold much sway given it is coming from you, rather than others. Complimenting oneself for control and not jumping to conclusions really changes nothing about how you and your opinions will be seen. I mean I could say 'all my friends think I'm so awesome, so pretty, always right and have the best knowledge about everything'. What would you make of this if I said it?

The Sea Shepherds were "done for the day" and sitting on an at idle non harassing at the time small ship in the middle of a big ocean. The Whaler Captain made a series of course corrections over nearly 3 minutes with the Ady Gil always in sight to make an attack run that resulted in the mallicious running down of the small SS ship.

This is your opinion, you cannot prove it one way or another.

I have repeatedly said that for years SS have been setting a trap for the Japanese Whalers. The fact that the trap worked does not mean that in this particular instance the Ady Gil was under orders to let the Whaler run it down. If you find the audio tapes of those orders you can use them as evidence.

If that was their aim, it wasn't a very good 'trap'. They have made themselves look very bad.

The Ady Gil was just sitting in the water, hardly moving.

Why did they not move out of the way then? Unless they wanted to be rammed, which is suicidal, likely to ruin a $2mil boat for no reason without any damage to the Japanese whalers.

The Whaler Captain made obvious turns to put his boat too close to the Ady Gil. His was the onus to stay clear; he did not. The Ady Gil did not cause the collision by not going anywhere for over 2 minutes!

The onus is on boat of them to avoid collusion. Just sitting still doesn't absolve them of blame if they are sitting in the middle of a much larger ship's path. If I sat on the train tracks and a train ran over me, my lack of action wouldn't change the fact that what I did was moronic.

Perhaps you have jumped to conclusions because you are unable to see anything beyong you own distorted POV on this subject. You see one sided when two sided is reality IMO.

I waited until I had seen all 3 videos from all 3 ships. Up until that time I had not made a commitment except that I find the Research Permit Whaling where the Japanese Government gives a permit to a company that they subsidize to take nearly a thousand whales per year for research to be so disingenuous that it is ridiculous!

They rarely take close to a thousand whales per year. Do not exaggerate for effect. I believe they have taken about 17000 over 25 years. 5500 of those are objected to, the rest they had IWC permits for.

The AG did not move out of the way because they were not on train tracks. The SM could have maintained it's course 2 minutes from impact, 1 minutes from impact, 30 seconds from impact, even 20 seconds from impact and not made contact with the AG.

At 20 seconds from impact the SM made a hard turn starboard and without that turn there would have been no collision. The AG moved too slow but they did not "put themselves on the tracks."

Lets just kill all types of animals for "research" and use the rest for food. I'm sure thats what they said when they ran the bald eagles nearly to extinction. Ewww Eww hpw about the manatees sure they can do research on those till there extinct. I'm sure killing 10 a day wouldn't hurt anything. Sure by the time the goverment relized the animals where almost extinct they would have all sorts of meetings and new laws that would tie it up for years.

I know :D

But i'm pretty sure it will be ignored :eyebrow:

No I meant halemano' self-tooting post. I will add to this when not mobile.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Both ships should have done everything they could to avoid a collision, but BOTH chose not to.

No one is arguing that there should be unsustainable whaling so I am not sure why you felt you needed to make a comment such as this.

I was reading somewhere in the middle people where arguing about it I didn't relize there was 71 pages. I forgot to quote it.
