Got my $10 coffee maker and my roomie says he's a coffee drinker.
I guess I am pretty good to go. Just need to hit the gym and shape up some

Sitting here with my 1st morning cup of coffee absorbing the wisdom of the board :coffee:

You don't need all that...just go down to the restaurant when you wake up and grab a pot full of great Honduran coffee and bring it back to your room! Hubby always wakes me with a fresh pot and we sit out on the balcony and greet each AMAZING day in paradise :D
Great idea. Can your hubby get my first pot for me before I get out of bed...?

Sorry DD...not sharing hubby with you:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

Fair's fair...I saw him first :D:rofl3::rofl3:
She's ignoring my subsequent comment, but the original idea was her's....
Ok YOU get the coffee before I wake up. :D
Nah, your idea to run down to get a pot does have merit, depending on how far the room is. My maker weights 3.5 pounds with box, and the other supplies do add up. I'll still take it tho - so we can run my own carafe and not get into their equipment, to use the hot plate, and while Honduras does grow coffee, they don't seem to have decaf? I make one quart at a time and that is fast. I'll still be well under 70# each on both bags, but if I was fighting 50# limits like most - I'd consider leaving it.
