Someone asked how to control buoyancy when a diver such as I cat naps during a deco stop. First I set my buoyancy to neutral and try to make my shallow stop at 20' if possible to avoid swells. This certainly helps in maintaining buoyancy.

If I am on an anchor line I tend to hold on with my hands (gloves if it is a mooring line) or in the alternative I hook my knee around the line. I should get a jon line for this task and will probably do so when I stop by the lds for more trinkets.

Also, my naps are more of a trance or cat nap. I still need to check my gas supply and timer every few minutes to make sure I'm not about to screw something up.

I usually clip off to the anchor line, and play out about 15 feet of line, this negates any swell.

yep. it's like light tag, against the cave walls. it's likely stupid, but it really makes us laugh.
