The problem with the Atomic swivel that came with my B2 what that the swivel was directly attached to the hose. Ordering a new 7ft hose from Atomic would have been around $200 at the time.
OK, thanks for the clarification. That IS expensive.
For me, the Miflex hose makes the swivel unnecessary in a long hose configuration. But I could see how swivels would be nice on sidemounts. Again, I have no personal issues with swivels on tech gear, what I meant was that tech gear is generally going to have a long hose and the above reasons make the swivel redundant for me.
Makes sense.

Money is no object? Then I'd want the prototype M5 from Atomic Aquatics. It's an all Monel version of the M1.

Sounds interesting.

How did you hear about it? Any photos or other info to share?

This is not a challenge, btw. :D The guys and gals at AA are always up to sumthin'.

scubapro mk25 and a700

The regulator that will outperform every regulator on the market... and outperform by a large margin... is a vintage Scubapro MK5 turned into a "Monster" by John Cannon. At the time I had him make one for me... about 2 years ago... he had the test data to prove it!

Although this article doesn't talk about the "Monster", it will give you some information about the man behind the regulator... nedivenews.com/?q=node/65

I think no regulator can outperform bare tank valve. So if one needs the highest performance that's the way to go :)
