Look it over
How it all started with ted thats what I thought his name was on July 15 2007. I think of him as Ted I should have rebutted this right away years ago, but I think that people are a lot smarter and can read through the BS on a post most did. I didnt really read it all the first time because it was a BS post. On all this stuff written on this post ,go back on these guys who write past posts and read them you will get a idea of their character. I was cautious to rebut because other divers told me if you have a different opinion than some of the posters they gang up on you not nice guys. Let me add it isnt the forms fault. My idea is diving is for fun and everyone gets to dive.
So Ted and Mr. 35% are trying to set up a little confrontation. Ted probably told 35% lets screw over this guy. They are also obviously part of my fan club and we will address each one of them in future posts and there motivation as I see it. I will let you decide what you want to believe. I had to ban all my friends and divers from responding to this post when it first appeared. That was a mistake my fan club had a opening to keep up the harassment. They were at it just a while ago on the other form. Every time I see them I think hooey here comes the BS fan club what type of bs are they going to start now..
My side is this ..........Ted was on the mooring and had the line tied tight on his bow so we cannot slip a line. We pull up in our cattle boat with a openwater class. Ted and 35% are sitting in the boat I did not know then who they were. We arrive and pull up I stop ,they turn their backs ignore us the big cattle boat. I ask for the line Ted response is I dont know who you are? Everything was good up to this point. Then he says who are you. I say its my line we want to dive. Then I realize that its a set up. I tell him that is my mooring I put it there let us have it. He ignores my request to slip a line. I guess we would ruin his viz. That stuff about me swearing at him is 100 % the truth and very accurate. Then he says let us tie off to you. I say go drop an anchor. I then take his picture so I can remember the boat and the harassing divers. He snaps then he yells I know who you are and etcetera. So ted had a idea of my operation and that we were there to dive.
He was prepped by the Rob F-Only fan club and they helped get him worked up. He was harassing me because, I did not give a 35% firemans discount to his buddy who is in his boat. I really figured it out after we looked at the picture and saw 35%. He was so cool demanding a firemans discount and then hinting about something if there is a fire. He yelled you wasted my time as he left my store swearing at me. I am still shocked I did not get in a few verbs of my own on his way out sorry I missed that opportunity. Yes he put that dive shop guy in his place turning down a bad deal like that. I disrespect him and anyone who tries to use their public service job to get a discount on demand. Peel fire we have taught hundreds of them over the years, Scarborough, Milton , Brampton, Toronto, all over the GTA. all of them good people and never asked for firemans discount or demanded it. As my cousin says fireman just want a great deal doesnt everyone?
I called down to the boys in Toronto Fire and asked them about ted the word back was not nice.
Ps ted I really like the stuff about home life its so personal. I am trying to keep it to the facts but it has become to personnel.

They started adding to one thread earlier this year when some diver was looking for dives in the Oakville /Toronto area. Ontario diving Charters in Ontario and region 6/25/09 and by 6/27/09 one of the puppets who very actively attacking me now is writing some nasty. In scuba board he called me a liar because I wouldnt post on that site. I had tried to join again but after three weeks I gave up. I guess I know why now....does he have his finger on that button??? How long does it take to join??minutes, hours ,days, weeks????
B... when your dive boat sank last year off Toronto why did you call me for help? I dont owe any of you guys anything let alone a apology for what you did to the family. You know why I banned you from the shops. You must of had fun you and your side kick keeping these puppets wound up. You have puppets. O.W.K.D..... and a few more I know them and the silent ones. Now they are going to get crazy people to get guns to attack me from their boat. Its getting stupid and crazy. Scuba board is tame in comparison to those other wacko-jobs on Ontario Diving. Topo bad alot of nice people and divers on that form and they like to dive and have fun.
Anyways I am done with you puppets ..........most people just want to dive and have fun ........you guys dont
Ontario Diving July 15 2009.
I had the GPS #'s and knew that there was some type of marker just under the surface leading to it's exact location. After a minor technical difficulty we ended up throwing a shot line about 200m from the actual site. It made for a great dive, but no SA Queen. After recalibrating the compass on the GPS, sure enough it showed that we were off by about 200m and we buzzed over to the new co-ords only to find the marker as was mentioned. We hooked on and were just sitting back getting some SI time, when we noticed Oakville Divers was bringing a cattle boat out to what appeared the same site...lots of wet suits, stab jackets and single AL80's. Our first reaction was to gear up and get in before we lost any viz that was about to be decimated by the herds, but as we were on the mooring, we stayed topside to offer them the mooring (bigger vessel) and suggested that we would raft off their stern, a fairly common practise in my experience.
Not knowing the owner(s) of Oakville Divers or their captains (and I use that term as loosely as you can for a mentally challenged control freak) I had heard some real horror stories about divers having to deal with them. Not being one to pay much attention to rumour until it actually affects me, I can now confirm what I had heard about them to be true to the last detail. Their vessel, with no registration numbers, running under the name "Orkney Isles" was soon upon us and before we had a chance to offer greetings and make suggestions as to how we could all get in safely, the "Captain" came out of the wheelhouse, screaming at us to "Get the ******* off of his mooring" "Get the ******* away from my mooring" "I ********** put it there, now get the ******* off" This exchange took place in full view of both his customers as well as what appeared to be new student divers. Not wanting to come off as smart @sses, we took the high road and suggested that he moor on first and that we could raft off behind, as we would be in way before their group got geared up and hence wrapped up before they surfaced.
I gotta say I'm no prude, AT ALL!!! and neither is my buddy who has had previous dealings with said clown, but we were shocked to the point of being speechless as this pinhead continued a verbal tirade towards us in what may have been perceived as a threatening manner, all in full view of his group of customers. This situation was quickly digressing and rather that getting into a heated arguement with this obviously challenged little man, or having to contact the Police and Coast Guard, we graciously released and relinquished the line to him (choose your battles, and all that!) Some of the overheard conversation from his deck as we backed away into a safe 200' perimeter from his boat were, that it was his wreck and and his mooring and no G**D*** way were we going to use it.
Watching through the binoculars, sure enough within twenty minutes, fins were surfacing first, arms were flailing, bodies were popping up all over the place and his group couldn't get back on board fast enough in a pell mell of dive gear all over his deck.
Sound travels rather well over water and some of his closing rants as he was undoing the mooring lines included "Let those @ssholes do what they want" and "******* you's" abounded.
In conclusion, there is an obvious reason why some LDS's remain open and maintain a strong customer base, while others come and go, never to be seen again. Based on the rumours I had heard, I went out of my way to Mississauga Diving (apparently owned by his brother) to get my tanks filled the previous day for fear of a confrontation with this mentally handicapped malcontent. This is only one (or three experiences with this operation that yielded negative results) and after having witnessed the way they run their operation and treat the diving community, I for one would gladly walk Dxxe's, Kexxy's and my own doubles past his shop, over broken glass to a kid with a bicycle pump to get fills before I ever stepped foot into his (sic) establishment. I hope he has a happy home life, 'cause he sure is a tyrant on the water.
Your experiences may be different with Oakville Divers (although I doubt it) I, for one will be boycotting his operation indefinitely and I will scrutinize his charter operation a little closer given that there were no MV registration numbers anywhere on his vessel and chances are he is not in compliance with the latest Coast Guard regulations.
If you were on todays 12:00 pm charter aboard the "Orkney Isles", although embarrassed, I'm sure you will agree that we made every effort to be courteous to Captain Bligh.Captain Bligh was a fantastic seaman and in a open boat he saved what was left of his crew. Interesting story read it sometime.
