kevin sorry this took awhile but just a quick thanks for when we dove with ya onthe 31st. If it wasnt for you and your keen senses of the weather and water we would never had gottent to dive and for me it was that day or no day. (John and sam dove jupiter the next day) But I knew I wouldnt be doing that. So thanks again i actually found it pretty easy to get on and off your boat especially off. loved falling in backwards!! anyway see ya soon in Boyton and thanks again!!

Looking forward to Sunday, Kev. It has been much too long. Just need to find some fins, and I'm good to go! :D

Terri

Yeah, what she says! :D

Nice close-up of that green moray! Wow, 72 sounds mighty nice right now... I was in Pensacola last weekend and dove the Oriskany, and it was 61. Downright frigid!

One of these days I need to get out on Kevin's boat...

Waahhhh I wanna make bubbles-----

Today was a good day. The ocean was flat, the sun was out, viz could have been a little better. But all in all a good VD.
I made my 300th dive today and my 2nd and 3rd ocean dives in doubles:scubadive:. Luckily there was no tragedy.:D
Big thanks to Kev, Alex and Teri for all you help today.
Kev's boat is always a positive experience

Hey Kim, I didn't realize it was a div-a-vesary for you today... Congratulations! Thanks for the report, and for coming out!

A couple more details, in case I ever have to look back on this day... Seas, flat, water temp 72F vis 35v on the first dive, 25 on the second. Moderate to strong east current on the first dive, moderate north current on the second. Here are a couple of pics to go with it from the old camera that I fidgeted back to life... it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, and worst of all... I forgot how to change the f-stop until the very end, so there wasn't anything I was really proud of, but here they are anyway.

Down4fun having good trim for a doubles noob. This pic is a pretty good representation of how the vis was too.

The Dark Overlord molests some lobsters.

This French angelfish almost got a big surprise!

Clubtip.jpg

I found this out on the fingers. I think it's a club tipped anemone, but I'm too tired to go look it up. This was when I realized that I had forgotten how to adjust my aperture.

Kevin,

Was a great day of diving on Saturday 2/14. Thanks again for putting the trip together for Kim and I to dive our doubles. Yeah . . . that "noob" looks GREAT !! Wish I looked as "bad" at it as she thinks she does when I first started ;)

I was NOT molesting those lobsters, I was crying in my mask and trying to convince them to follow me up to the boat :crafty:

Never fails . . . when you don't bring the gear, the bugs be EVERYWHERE :shakehead:

Can't complain though, it was a SUPER day !! Flat seas, vis was ehhhhhhhh . . . who cares, WE GOT TO GO DIVING WITH KEV & ALEX !!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Kim for inviting me to share the day with her !! Take care guys, see you soon :kiss2:

We can see quite plainly in this photo, taken immediately after the above one, that your Overlording powers were operating at full tilt.
