I have 70 or so dive with my Oceanic Veo 250 loaded into a Oceanic 2.2.0 divelog. Then I added a Wisdom 2 and have another 90 or so dives in a Sherwood 2.0.2 dive log. Is there a way to import the Veo 250 dives into the Sherwood dive log? All I can see is a way to export the Oceanic log into a tab or comma delimited file, but then no way to import that into the Sherwood log. They are both just databases so there should be a way to do but I haven't figured it out yet.

I still use the Veo 250 as a backup so all my dives are in the Oceanic dive log. But I consider the Wisdom 2 my primary computer since it's AI and I'd like to get all my dives into that dive log.

Is there a 3rd party dive log software program that can import dives from various computers and their associated dive logs? This would seem like the best option then it really wouldn't matter what computer I used I'd have one central log.

I'm not interested in keeping my own Excel log or a hand written log. I could manually enter the first 70 dives into the Sherwood dive log, but I was hoping for a way just to import them and also get all the data points including the dive details info.

I've been looking at Diving Log 4.0 (check out their website at divinglog.de). I believe all the dive computers you mentioned are listed as "supported" according to the website. I've downloaded a the trial version to make sure I can import my current Uwatec dive log. I'm looking at a new computer, and I was interested to see if I could make my logbook work.

Not all the supported dive computers can download directly to the Diving Log 4.0 software. Most of the computers have to download first to their proprietary software, and then can be imported to the Diving Log 4.0 software. I think they are trying to add more direct download capabilities.

I'll be interested to see if you or other members have found any better options.

Diving Log 4.0 can import from both OL and SCI (I have both and I do the same). I simply use OL to download the dives, then import them into Diving Log directly from the .dlg (MS Access) file directly. There is no intermediate export to XML then import. Works great and Sven (developer of OL) is a good guy about fixing stuff.

Bump!

Can't believe no activity on this for five years. I probably haven't looked at enough threads.
Moved from Oceanic ProPlus2 to Galileo Luna.
Would love to combine logs. Any way to get Oceanic Data into SmartTrak?
Do I need a third-party program?

No help from me on that one, but I want to add that I would like to get the Mares Puck logs from Drak into SmartTrak.

use 3rd party software, not proprietary one.
as Subsurface, and you can merge or have all your divelogs in one interface

Yes, the only way you'll get different manufacturers logbooks together is with a 3rd party software package. Sounds like you're on a PC so I would check out Diving Log 5.0 which can import from many PC format manufacturers logbooks.
