CoCoView Trip Report 10-25 to 11-1

I sent this out to my co-workers upon return:

Boy do I understand! When we went to Sandals Negril in 2001 my wife brought 7 pairs of shoes! I felt like a pack mule at the airport!

She brought 1 extra pair this last trip!

Chuck, you HAVE to have a pair for each outfit!

Good thing is it's basically one outfit @ CCV! Again, trouble is gonna be convincing the girl of that!

We leave in 2 days for a long weekend in Jamaica at Riu Negril AI resort. I'm going to try and make it with a dive bag and carry on. She's already said she's gonna need a "big" suitcase and hopes there will be room for shoes in the dive bag. It's 5 nights. I'm screwed!

thanks! Glad to hear the drifts are like Cozumel. I don't mind drift diving (we've been to Coz 5 times) but I do hate dragging my video rig against current. :shocked2: It wears me out!

I finally got a chance to watch the videos, those were fun! The last one doesn't work though (Exploring the wall, 2) That really gets me in the mood for diving. It will be our first trip to Roatan.

I will be shooting video next week and trying out my new light system. Hopefully I will have some videos to post in a couple of weeks, including a night dive video.

I fixed Exploring 2! It was too big for my host so I split it into Exploring 2-3.

The Canon G9 does a pretty good job with movies. I use a red filter on the Ekelite housing when I set up for movies.

I've heard rumor that the newer G10 does not have the Hi-res movie modes. Too bad, it's a great feature.

I looked at your stuff - wonderful shots in Palau etc! What do you use?
