I wanted to throw this question out... Lately you have been hearing alot about diver's beening left in the water by dive boats. I know its a rariety, but that's the reason why I carry four signal devices: a safety sauage, a mirror, a whistle, and a dive alert air horn.
I am wondering if it would be worthwide to get a ACR EPIRB "Personal Emergency Beacon". I know that ACR electronics makes some waterproof units, but they are only rated to 33 feet. You think if I placed a EPIRB unit in a small Pelican Case, I can take it with me underwater...no matter what depth I go?
I would appreciate any feedback.
