Air diva = someone who's oh so proud of their low SAC rate. They inevitably compare how much air they have left at the end of a dive with everyone else they dive with, apparently expecting applause.

RB= Rebreather but also Rock Bottom (in gas calculations)
EAD=Equivalent Air Depth
END=Equivalent Narcotic Depth
AGE=Arterial Gas Embolism
CAGE= Cerebral Arterial Gas Embolism

-"Brass and Glass"= naked SPG, no boot or console

LBTS - Lauderdale By The Sea, a city on the east coast of Florida known for great shore dives. And where Ocean Fest used to be held.

Diving Bombing - release all air from the BC, hit the water and dive as quickly as you can to hit the dive site during a drift dive as not to miss the site.

Nobody said stroke yet, did they?

I have a real vague idea what it is which makes me think I am one. I've never really bothered to check, since I don't belong in the forum where the term would be used... I'm not sure if they'd tell me if I am one or just call me one instead :D I might be one kind but not another. It's all very confusing to me. I'm going back to the DD forum where I belong...

That would be Dork Diver. As opposed to NDD for Non-Dork Diver. (it's nice to be back on safe ground)

I was considering it but as a rule of thumb, the quickest way to derail any thread on SB (Scubaboard), TDS (Deco Stop), or TDM (Dive Matrix) is to drop the "S" bomb :) Although I did give honorable mention to GIT.

Most people use the acronym "GI3", actually.

What does GIT or G13 mean?

Edit: Oh! Just found it in the list - missed it before. Nvm :)
